About
My research interest is focused on the development of novel therapeutic agents for the treatment of hematological malignancies. Towards this aim, I am serving in three different leadership positions: 1) I am the director of the UNM Bone Marrow Transplant and Cell Therapy Program, which has brought autologous hematopoietic stem cell transplant technology to New Mexico, with the intent of introducing allogeneic stem cell transplant and both CAR-T therapy in the near future. Dr. Jodi Mayfield is an Assistant Professor of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology and Stem Cell research at the University of New Mexico. She received her MD from the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center in 2008. She is currently a member of the American Society of Hematology and the Children's Oncology Group.
