Dr. David Sallman is an Assistant Member in the Department of Malignant Hematology at Moffitt Cancer Center. Dr. Sallman’s clinical interests are myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS), acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPN). Dr. Sallman earned his MD degree from the University of South Florida College of Medicine. He completed an Internal Medicine Residency at Massachusetts General Hospital and, most recently, a Hematology/Oncology Fellowship at Moffitt Cancer Center. After completing Internal Medicine Internship, Residency, and Hematology fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine, Dr. Rice joined the faculty and became a Professor of Medicine and Professor of Thrombosis Research. For more than 20 years, he was the Hematology Program Director and Director of the required medical student Hematology/Oncology course. In 2007, his primary affiliation changed to Chief of Hematology at Houston Methodist Hospital (HMH) and Professor of Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College. Dr. Patel is an Assistant Professor at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. His reasearch interests include: Hematopoietic stem cell transplantation; alternative donors transplant including umbilical cord blood, transplantation of malignant and non-malignant disease.

Dr. Ron Paquette is a member of the Blood and Marrow Transplant Program at Cedars-Sinai. He is a physician and researcher who treats patients with hematologic disorders including aplastic anemia, myelodysplastic syndrome, leukemias and lymphomas. He attended medical school at The Ohio State University, completed his Internal Medicine residency and Hematology-Oncology fellowship at the University of California, Los Angeles. He was previously a faculty member at UCLA before joining Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

Dr. Olson's clinical efforts focus on pediatric hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT), with a specific emphasis on HSCT for patients with inherited and acquired bone marrow failure. Through his combined clinical activities in the Bone Marrow Failure Center within the Division of Hematology and the Blood and Marrow Transplant Section within the Division of Oncology, his goal is to facilitate outstanding care for patients with inherited bone marrow failure and acquired aplastic anemia during their transition from diagnostic evaluation to treatment through HSCT. Dr. Pollyea received his MD degree from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine. He stayed at the University of Chicago Hospital for his residency in Internal Medicine and served as Chief Medical Resident at Cook County Hospital. He then completed his fellowship training in Hematology and Oncology at Stanford University, where he also completed a Masters degree in Epidemiology with an emphasis on biostatistics and clinical trial design.
