After obtaining her MBBS at Byramjeejeebhoy Medical College in India in 2005, Dr. Desai obtained an MPH at the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Public Health. Following her residency at Wayne State University, Detroit Medical Center, she underwent fellowship training in Hematology-Medical Oncology at Providence Hospital Medical Center, serving as Chief Fellow from 2012-2013. Tom DeLoughery is a native Hoosier who graduated from Indiana State University in 1981 (one year after Larry Bird) and the Indiana University School of Medicine in 1985. He did his internship at the University of California, Irvine before traveling to Oregon where he finished his internal medicine residency and hematology/oncology fellowship. Matt Kalaycio, MD, FACP, is the former Chairman of the Department of Hematology and Medical Oncology at Cleveland Clinic Taussig Cancer Institute. Dr. Kalaycio is also a Professor in the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University. Board-certified in hematology, Dr. Kalaycio's clinical interests are in leukemia and hematopoietic cell transplantation. Dr Mattison is an associate professor of medicine within the division of hematology/oncology at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. He earned his medical degree at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine, Iowa City, IA. He completed his residency at University of North Carolina Hospitals, Chapel Hill, NC and his fellowship at the University of Chicago Hospitals, Chicago, IL. Dr. Mattison is board-certified in internal medicine, medical oncology and hematology.

Dr. Leslie Ellis is a hematologist-oncologist at Wake Forest Baptist Health in Winston-Salem North Carolina. Dr. Ellis earned her BS and MD degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is an active researcher and treats patients across the hematologic malignancy spectrum, focusing primarily on leukemias as well as bone marrow failure diseases.

Sarah Bannon is a Senior Genetic Counselor in the Department of Clinical Cancer Genetics at the UT MD Anderson Cancer Center. Her clinical responsibilities include providing risk assessment and genetic counseling services to individuals at risk for an inherited predisposition to hematologic malignancies (leukemia). She is the Genetic Counselor for the Hereditary Hematologic Malignancies Clinic (HHMC).
