Dr. Amador received her medical degree from the National University of Colombia and completed fellowships in surgical pathology and hematopathology at the Mayo Clinic and Northwestern University. The focus of her service efforts includes diagnosing hematologic disorders and neoplasms through the histopathologic review of hematolymphoid tissues (lymph nodes, bone marrow, and other tissues). Her areas of academic interest encompass all areas of diagnostic hematopathology, with a particular interest in the pathology of T-cell lymphomas.
