This symposium will provide updates on the most recent advances in the pathophysiology, diagnosis and clinical management of bone marrow failure diseases, including aplastic anemia, myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS), paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria (PNH), secondary acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. Panel discussions will address the current gaps in patient care for each of these diseases, including: 

Diversifying clinical trial enrollment 
Addressing barriers to care – ageism, geographic and cultural challenges, delays in diagnosis, genetic profiling, long term supportive care 
Assessing quality of life issues and shared decision-making 
Target audience: Physicians, APPs, NPs, nurses and social workers.
