What is CaringBridge and what can it do for patients and families?

Each day, over half-a-million people connect through CaringBridge.

CaringBridge.org is a website established in 1997 that allows patients, families, friends, caregivers—anyone whose life has been affected by illness and disease—to establish their own private, password accessible website within the CaringBridge site as a way to promote two-way communication between all parties.

Announcements, pictures, blog-style updates, communications, and messages of support and hope can be instantly exchanged between everyone involved.  The only way to access and use a CaringBridge site is by requesting it from the person who created the site.

Consider starting a CaringBridge site to keep in touch and support people in your life who are fighting bone marrow failure: A condition that occurs when the bone marrow stops making enough healthy blood cells. The most common of these rare diseases are aplastic anemia, myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS) and paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria (PNH). Bone marrow failure can be acquired (begin any time in life) or can be… disease.
