Presentation Date:
Fri, 10/21/2022 - 8:30am (EDT)

This free virtual symposium provides updates on the most recent advances in the pathophysiology, diagnosis and clinical management of bone marrow failure diseases, including aplastic anemia, myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS), paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria (PNH), secondary acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. Additionally, the program addresses the current gaps in patient care for each of these diseases, such as clinical trial enrollment, reaching diverse patient populations, barriers to care, diagnostic challenges, genetic profiling, long term supportive care, and quality of life issues. Speakers include representatives of innovative programs focusing on closing inequities and underserved patient populations. The patient voice is also represented through patient panelists and patient survey responses.

Target Audience: Physicians, Fellows, APPs, NPs, nurses and social workers.
