Dr. Ramon Tiu is an assistant professor of molecular medicine at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University and is associate staff in the Department of Translational Hematology and Oncology Research and the Department of Hematologic Oncology and Blood Disorders. He completed his medical school training at the University of Santo Tomas Faculty of Medicine and Surgery in the Philippines and subsequently pursued internal medicine training at Cleveland Clinic from 2003-2006. He is a current recipient of an Aplastic Anemia and MDS International Foundation research grant and a prior recipient of a T32 research award from Case Western Reserve University. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Hematology and Oncology. He is involved in both clinical and translational research, focusing mainly on the field of bone marrow failure syndromes and myeloproliferative neoplasms.
