Dr. Eric Yang is currently an Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at the Ronald Reagan University of California, Los Angeles Medical Center. He obtained his undergraduate and medical degrees at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine, and completed his internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, where he served as chief fellow.

Since joining the academic faculty at UCLA as a clinician educator in 2011, he has been involved both in the invasive and noninvasive realms of the field, serving as one of the cardiology liaisons on the Lung Transplantation Committee. He also is a member of the Structural Heart Intervention Team, assisting in echocardiography guided procedures on transcatheter aortic and mitral valve procedures. Dr. Yang's clinical interests also include medical education, where he has served as Associate Program Director of the UCLA Cardiovascular Diseases Fellowship since 2013. He officially established the UCLA Cardio-oncology Program in 2016 which he continues to head. His clinical and research interests include valvular disease, advanced multimodality imaging, echocardiography, and cardio-oncology.
