Carina Moravec, ARNP, MA received her BSN from the University of Utah, her master of arts in nursing and completed her post masters Family Nurse Practitioner Program from the University of Washington, Seattle. She is currently a nurse practitioner with the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle, Washington. Ms. Moravec has worked in hematopoietic stem cell transplantation for 29 years, as a clinical nurse specialist, as a floor nurse, as a charge nurse, and for the past 17+ years as a nurse practitioner. Much of her time is spent in long-term follow-up, where she assists with the management of over 5,000 patients who are beyond 100 days post transplant. She has a number of publications related to nursing care for bone marrow transplant patients.
