Dr. Carlos de Castro of Duke University noted two important findings reported
at ASH on pediatric PNH. Researchers comparing clinical characteristics of
pediatric PNH patients compared to adult PNH patients found no significant
differences. Also, data shared at ASH will likely lead to the approved use of
eculuzimab for pediatric patients in the future.
