Brennan, O'Gorman Win Overall Titles, But Everybody's A Winner At Coach Michael's Fight 3K
Volunteers, sponsors and participants of all ages came together on a beautiful sun-drenched morning to honor six-time Olympic coach Michael Lohberg by raising more than $5,000 from donations and entry fees for Aplastic Anemia and MDS International Foundation.
Lohberg, 61, died on April 4 after succumbing to the bone marrow disease after nearly a three-year battle but he is not forgotten evident by friends, family and swimmers running or walking in his honor at Saturday's Coach Michael's Fight 3K Run/Walk.
"We shined as a team and we should all be proud," said Coral Springs Booster Club president Marianne Goldman."
