Mobile App for MDS Risk Stratification and Treatment Options

Available for for iPad, iPhone, Android and BlackBerry platforms
The Aplastic Anemia & MDS International Foundation has developed a FREE application to assist physicians with risk stratification and selection of treatment options for patients with myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS). It includes medical calculators for the following classification/scoring systems:
- FAB Classification
- WHO Classification
- IPSS
- WPSS
In each of these systems, there are context-sensitive informational screens for the user. The mobile application also contains a robust Resource section, which includes links to the following:
- The AA&MDSIF Treating MDS Toolkit
- Journal articles pertaining to the various classification and prognostic scoring systems
- NCCN Guidelines for MDS
- CME programs related to treatment and diagnosis of MDS
The FAQ section includes frequently asked questions about MDS classification/scoring systems with answers by MDS experts.
This mobile application is currently available for Apple iPhone, Android smartphones, and Blackberry platforms. An iPad specific version is also available in the iPad App Store.
The AA&MDSIF mobile application is now available and can be downloaded from the Android Market, Apple App Store, and Blackberry App World.
