The official walk program included inspirational remarks from patients and families. After a moment of remembrance to remember loved ones lost and reflections from survivor Oliver Wyss, who founded Soccer for Hope, the walk began.
The sea of red t-shirted participants flowed through the California State University Dominguez Hills campus and the main roads surrounding the campus to get public attention. The walk finished up at the Home Depot Center where Bravery bracelets were presented to each finisher.
