Houston Walk 2014

Following an energizing Zumba session along with a  warm welcome from committee member Patty Sprain, patients, families, and friends gathered for a group photo.  Then,  the festive group of walkers strolled along the streets and paths of the University of Houston, raising awareness in colorful walk shirts.  We finished back at Lynn Eusan Park where participants received Bravery bracelets and refreshments.  Finish line festivities focused on sharing moments with our friends and families, making new acquaintances, celebrating the top fundraisers, and remembering loved ones lost concluding with the promise of meeting again next year to walk — and run — for a cure!

Afterwards the walk festivities concluded, participants walked to nearby Frontier Fiesta and enjoyed lunch and the festivities.  A great day was had by all!
