The 15th Annual Chicken BBQ and Auction to benefit the Torry Yahn Research Fund will be held at the Moose Lodge in Churchville, NY on SATURDAY, June 8th.
This great afternoon of fun, friends and hope includes a delicious chicken barbeque along with an auction with many exciting prizes.
This event is being organized by JoAnn Yahn in memory of the daughter Torry, who lost her battle against aplastic anemia. This event is also being held in memory of JoAnn's husband and Torry’s father, Don Yahn, who passed away unexpectedly on December 27, 2012. Don worked tirelessly on this event over the years, along with wife JoAnn, and his auctioneering skills and expertise helped make this event the success that it has been.
Funds raised at the event will benefit the Torry Yahn Research Fund to find a cure for aplastic anemia. Thanks to donations at barbeques, and those of family and friends over the past decade, over $380,000 has been contributed to the AA&MDSIF Torry Yahn Research Fund.
If you are unable to attend and would like to show your support, please donate to the AA&MDSIF directly and indicate that your donation is for the Torry Yahn Research Fund.
Items are still needed for the auction. To volunteer, donate auction items or buy tickets, contact JoAnn Yahn at (585) 494-1367.
