Patient and Family Conference
2007 Conference in Las Vegas
2006 Conference in Nashville
2005 Conference in Denver
Each
year AA&MDSIF holds a Patient & Family Conference gathering
hundreds of patients and their families together with a selection of
the world's most distinguished medical researchers in bone marrow
disease. You will have the opportunity to hear directly from these
experts about the latest in medical research, clinical trails, and
treatment options. Several hours are set aside at the conference for a
question and answer forum with the experts, so attendees are able to
have their particular concerns addresses.
In addition to
hearing medical presentations, attendees have the opportunity to meet
other patients and families in specially designed workshops allowing
everyone the opportunity to connect with one another and share, not
only knowledge, but concerns and questions.
These annual
conferences bring also great fun and enjoyment to everyone! Evening
entertainment has ranged from comedians, to Celtic Music, to Indian
Tribal Dances, to the best jokes told on earth! We carefully organize
these days to be enjoyable as well as informative.
MEETINGS AND
MEALS ARE FREE! AA&MDSIF has been fortunate enough to find
sponsors to cover the conference costs so patients and their families
are able to attend our Patient & Family Conference free of charge.
(Lodging is not included.)
