Nurses Conference

  Meet Experts & Other Patients: Hear from leading medical experts about the latest in research and treatment options. Share experiences and exchange ideas with other patients and families.
  Pre-Conference Sessions: Designed for those who are newly diagnosed or want a refresher on the basics. Aplastic Anemia 101, PNH 101 and MDS 101 will take place on Sunday afternoon, July 27.
  More Than 15 Disease- and Topic-Specific Breakout Sessions: These will cover a variety of issues including transfusions, transplants, insurance coverage, using the Internet to gather health information, and lifestyle issues in bone marrow failure treatment.
  For Kids Only, A Children's Workshop:  A special afternoon is being developed specifi cally for children and teens who have a Bone Marrow Failure Disease (BMFD), their siblings and children of parents facing BMFD.
  25th Anniversary Celebration & Awards Dinner: Enjoy an evening celebrating AA&MDSIF's quartercentury of achievements and vision for a new era of service in providing support for patients and families with bone marrow failure diseases. Awards will be given for Leadership in Public Service, Philanthropy and Science. Join us for this festive evening.
  Capitol Hill Advocacy Day: Plan to stay through Wednesday, July 30 so you can participate in Capitol Hill Advocacy Day. Meet with your members of Congress and their staffs to educate them about bone marrow failure disease and ask them to support legislation for needed awareness and research.
