A Reminder to Save the Date: The AA&MDSIF 2008 Patient and Family Conference

The 2008 conference will begin on the afternoon of Sunday, July 27 with Aplastic Anemia 101, followed by PNH 101, and then MDS 101 for people who would like an introduction to the different diseases.  The conference will officially open that evening with a reception and talk.  The conference will run through Tuesday, July 29 followed by Capitol Hill Day on Wednesday, July 30 where you can meet with your members of Congress and educate them about bone marrow failure disease. To be held at the Crystal Gateway Marriott in Arlington, Virginia just across the river from Washington, DC, the conference will also be a celebration of the Foundation's 25th anniversary. Patients and their families will hear from leading medical experts about the latest in research and treatment options, share experiences and exchange ideas. The third annual Bone Marrow Failure Conference: Diagnostic and Treatment Issues for Nurses will be held prior to the Patient and Family Conference on Saturday, July 26.

Registration begins this week, so check back for online regsitration and a conference schedule.
